2 ½ cups All-Purpose flour
1 tbsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup buttermilk
13 x 9” pan
¼ cup buttermilk
2 tbsp butter
2 cups powdered sugar.
Preheat the oven to 350*.
Add dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir enough to incorporate all the ingredients. Add butter, buttermilk, and bananas and mix until it is mixed well and there are still chunks of banana in the batter. Pour into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes.
Let cool and make the buttermilk glaze. In a saucepan heat the butter and buttermilk until boiling, remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over the cake. Keep the cake in the refrigerator. Cut into squares and enjoy!
